A Dangerous Opportunity

What we are going through right now, is so big that we as individuals, as a society, and as a civilization can not come out of it the same as came into it. It is what I call a “dangerous opportunity”. We will either come out of this pandemic bigger, more soulful, more compassionate, with a greater sense of our inherent connectedness, or we will come out of it smaller, more ego driven, reactive, fearful and self centered. This event is simply so big that we cannot ignore the reality that life never turns back, is never the way it was before any previous moment of now.

Why the world is the way it is right now?

The way the world is at any given moment is a quintessentially perfect reflection of how each of us votes. In a sense, each of us votes in each and every moment of our lives by whether our hearts are open, and we are coming from a strong, loving, wise, intuitive, compassionate, soulful place or whether our hearts have closed and we are coming from a reactive, fear based, scared, angry, or ego driven place. Which one we are coming from is what determines not only the moment to moment quality of our own experience of life but it also is our vote about how the world is going to be. Our vote occurs, whether we are aware of it or not, in each and every moment of our entire lives. We are all voting all the time. At any given moment of time the total of all of humanity's votes is what creates the way the world is. Nobody is excused from voting.
