A phrase I often invite my clients to add to the things they tend to say to themselves or to others is “up til now”. This seemingly small addition can make a real, even profound, difference in how you experience your life.
If you make a mess, if you say or do something that is hurtful, unkind, or disrespectful to another person, you have to clean up your mess. If you want your life and your relationships to thrive here is what I want to invite you to say to that person.
Consider this way of looking at life. All we ever have in our lives are what I call “moments of now”. And the more fully present we are in each and every “moment of now” the better our life works.
This happens when your authentic self, your soul, holds your innocent but misguided reactive ego with tenderness and compassion. Learn how to love the wounded child within.

Our suffering comes when we have formed an attachment to some behavior - smoking, drinking, gambling, or to some belief, idea, or opinion we have about ourselves or the world around us. It is an attachment we are afraid or unwilling to release. Let’s look further at how this plays out in our life.
